    My name is Lori Carnochan, i’m 21 years old and I am a 4th year student studying Journailsm at Edinburgh Napier University.

    I intend to work in broadcast journalism and my aim in life is to become a sports reporter.

    I am a huge fan of rallying, formula-one, horse-riding, snooker, tennis and football.

    I have had carried out five weeks of work experience this year.

    Sky Sports- I was giving lots of tasks to do such as log shots, shadow the producer on several live shows, assist in choosing theme music and clips to use in the in-to-break tease and general duties.

    G.Q Magazine- I was helping out in the Fashion department where I called in clothes from designers, helped with the layout of pages and carried out general administration tasks.

    GMTV Scotland- I carried out an interview, helped film a news package, edited a package and assisted the journalist on a trip to the Cabinet meeting.

    I was educated at Dumfries Academy from 2000-2005.
